Ans: The Sales Department and the Warehouse are integrated within the Order-to-Delivery process.

Which steps are included in the Order-to-Delivery process ?

Ans: When the Sales Department received the P.O. from custumers, then they can use the application to check the inventory status though SAP system. After that they will create the Sales Order.

The warehouse manager can receive the details fastly. They can see the customers no. and shipping full address...

Then click to "Pick and packing manger", and and make a pack list for shippment.

Finally, the status will show "closed". And e-mail the confirmation to cutomers.

What factors would you consider when deciding whether ERP is suitable or not for a small business ?

Ans: Service-oriented architecture moves the ERP landscape toward software-based and web services-based business activities. This move increases adaptability, flexibility, openness and efficiency. The move towards E-SOA helps companies reuse software components and not have to rely as much on in-house enterprise resource planning hardware technologies which helps make ERP adoption more attractive for small- or mid-sized companies.
